Just Imagine…

June 24, 25 and 26, 2005 at the Crowne Plaza International Chicago (Rooms only $93/nite. Free shuttle to/from airport. Reservations must be made by June 2. Click on “About IMAC” above)

FRAGexchange.com brings Anthony Calfo and Eric Borneman to you at IMAC 2005! Come to IMAC to see fragging demonstrations throughout the weekend and two scheduled workshops featuring two of reefings biggest names, brought to you free by FRAG, IMAC and our sponsors.

We have now started adding 2004 video segments. For starters, here is Dr. Ron Shimek. “Myth-Takes About Sand Beds” It is about 30 minutes long so be sure you have enough time to view it. If you are a newbie, don’t be intimidated; this was one of the more technical presentations at IMAC. And if some points are not clear, remember that these are just clips. Although it is about 30 minutes long, it was taken from a 90 minute presentation. Some explanations had to be skipped. We will be adding more clips over the next few weeks. We have to space them out (they take up a lot of bandwidth).

And here is Jeff Mitchell, “Diseases in Hippocampus”. (It is about 22 minutes)

Here is Randy Reed, “Culturing Rotifers and Copopods. (About 30 minutes)

You can see a list of last year’s speakers and their topics here . Then you can email me and tell me which speakers you would like to see next. I’ll even let you know when they are up.

…a weekend where you can see live presentations by the most widely known, well-respected authors and lecturers in the marine aquarium hobby.

At the International Marine Aquarium Conference the speakers will be covering all the latest information and research on marine aquarium fish, corals and invertebrates. Meet with them socially, see exhibits by some of the foremost manufacturers and dealers in the aquarium hobby, and get some great deals on conference specials.

IMAC is open to ALL hobbyists . You do not have to belong to a marine aquarium society or even own a reef tank to attend, just be interested in learning more about this fascinating hobby.

IMAC is a non-profit venture by hobbyists for hobbyists to insure the continuation of an annual educational event for aquarists, at a reasonable cost.

Whether you are a seasoned aquarist or just a beginner, IMAC is something you need to take in. And IMAC is put on each year by the same people, so if you attended IMAC in 2003 or 2004 you know the high quality of the show that we will put on.

IMAC 2005 will take place in Chicago, Illinois, USA – June 24th, 25th and 26th. Click here for more information.

Many thanks to our sponsors for serving us perfect and fresh gimoka coffee during our conference.
